It also develops bespoke software solutions for desktops, mobile and web platforms. The company’s managing director was accepted as one of 38 young South Africans in a global E-mobility programme in Germany.
Africloud specialises in the setup, delivery and maintenance of secure wireless communication (wi-fi) devices for business, communities and schools in Port Elizabeth and the surrounding rural areas. This young dynamic company’s business ethos is to provide solutions to clients, especially in rural and peri-urban areas, who depend upon cost effective and reliable wireless communication results.
There was exponential growth within a period of five months in terms of clients and turnover.
Bay Technologies is a diversified ICT and professional service company delivering specialised technology. The company is dedicated to delivering world-class ICT products, consulting and solutions for business challenges across a select range of industries, including public sector, financial services, hospitality and medical sectors.
Bay Technologies also has sole distribution rights in South Africa for Cobrazoom with speech, which is software that provides access to information on a computer screen for people who are blind or visually impaired.
They grew fast and now employ eight permanent staff.
Truesight Communications graduated from full incubation at the end of the financial year, with the company’s revenue having soared from just over R160 000 in 2013/14 to over R550 000 in the reporting period.
The company diversified its portfolio, growing into media buying and publishing and registering a subsidiary company which contributed over R150 000 revenue. Employment creation in the company increased from one to three permanent staff and two contract staff.
